Simone Luca Pierotti

Born in 1980, he graduates 2005 in Visual Anthropology at “Università degli Studi di Siena” and in 2006 he completes the Certificate Program in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at the International Center of Photography in New York.

Since 2007 he dedicates his time to personal projects and his work has been published on Newsweek , L’Espresso and international newspapers. As a photographer and communication officer, he collaborates with different NGO’s and organizations: UNESCO Center of Florence, Ecpat, MEDU.

From 2009 to 2016 he taught photography in international colleges (Florence University of the Arts, Richmond College) in Florence (Italy). In 2016 he started a special education programme to teach photography and visual studies to migrants and asylum seeker. In 2017 he started a collaboration with Caritas to teach photography and visual studies for migrants to an advanced level. He is the Co-Founder of Flooida
